Thanksgiving eve Kadance and I spent the night at Seth's mom's place. (Seth was working that night) So we had a girls slumber/hair party. Sam came over and was mine and Jamie's hairstylist! I decided to have Sam do fringe on me again and dye it a dark auburn color. I am really really love it....Sam is amazing =)
Thanksgiving morning I got up a little earlier than Kadance and Sam, so I went in the kitchen where Jamie was already preparing the turkey. Needless to say I started to figure out what else needed to be done and got my morning coffee to wake up. I believe 15 to 20 min later Kadance woke up and Sam wasn't far behind her. Jamie got the turkey in the oven and then decided to make some scrambled eggs and toast for us to eat. I think more for Kadance to eat, but I can pretend it was for all of us. Haha
Sam and I helped Jamie get everything prepared for dinner and made sure that we were going to eat at 2, because Seth had to leave no later than 3:45 to head back to work. We had dinner ready promptly at 2 and Seth was proud. Why I am emphasizing on what time we eat and it actually being done at the time said, is because Jamie usually says we are going to eat at....say 5 and we done eat till 8. It seemed like everyone enjoyed dinner and all were really happy with the new dish that was on the table. Jamie decided to make a yam casserole and dang was it yummy! Ok now I am not sure it was yam casserole.....but anyways it was darn yummy!
